My client is a reputable vehicle manufacturing based in Coventry. My client is looking for an experienced Pre Delivery Inspection Controller to organise the centre activities and ensure the smoot running of the operation of the department.

Job Description

Pre Delivery Inspection Centre Controller 
Full Time, Permanent Vacancy, based in Coventry.
My client is looking for an experienced PDI Centre Controller to work in the Coventry office. The working hours are Monday - Thursday, 7-4pm and Friday 7-1pm, paying £22,000 per annum. 

Key Responsibilities: 
- Managing a team of vehicle technicians and subcontractors. 
- Maintaining a relationship with all production departments including sales and aftersales. 
- Jobcard creation. 
- Identifiying recalls. 
- Carry out estimates for used vehicle preparation. 
- Identify stock levels.
- Create purchase order numbers and handle invoices. 
- Identify warranty parts. 
- Process claims 
- Maintain health and safety levels and standards. 
- Update monthly health and safety records. 
- Liaise with factory maintainance. 
- Fire marshal duties. 

Person Specification

Candidates Must Have: 
- Be competant first aiders. 
- Understand the parts and requirements of consumables. 
- Have technical knowledge and experience of the retail motor industry. 
- Working within a senior level, either team leader or management, in the past. 
- Ability to organise clerical work. 
- Leadership and coaching attributes. 
- Knowledge of vehicle design and manufacturing. 
- Knowledge of business methods and financial controls. 
- Knowledge of EU legislation. 
- IT Competant in ADP/Kerridge.
- High standards of numeracy and literacy.
