Red Rock Partnership Ltd is currently recruiting for a Practice Nurse on behalf of one of its local clients.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced nurse who has ideally worked within a practice before and has experience of providing nursing treatments within a practice environment. Our client is looking for someone who has experience of undertaking diagnostic tests such as bloods, urine and peak flow recording, ECG and spirometry in accordance with the practices protocols. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the collection, despatch and recording of lab specimens.
In addition you will provide general nursing clinics appointments such a:
Ear syringing Child immunisation and vaccinations
Stitch removal Interpretation of specific blood results eg FBC, Lipids etc
Care of wounds and the application of dressings
Cervical cytology Sexual Health Life Style advice and management
Travel Vaccination advice and administration
You will be expected to advise and inform patients on general health issues where appropriate. You will also be required to develop and deliver health promotion programmes where required.
We are looking for some one who has experience of working either within a practice or a similar role. The role is 20hours over 3days.
