The Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pre contract surveyor within the pre-construction team of on eth the country’s leading main contractors. The company operate in multiple sectors building and refurbishing schools, hospitals, leisure centres, hotels and office blocks with values up to £40 million.
Due to a strong order book for the coming year and 2012 they require an experienced taking off surveyor to join their pre-contracts team. The ideal candidate will already be in a similar position already and will come from either a main contracting or consultancy background. There will be excellent opportunities to progress your career due to the dynamic nature of the company and emphasis on training and development.
Responsibilities will include;
- Measuring quantities from drawings, sketches and specifications prepared by designers, architects and engineers in order to prepare tender/contract documents.
- Preparing bills of quantities, in accordance with SMM’s
- Taking off values and measurements
