REED Healthcare are currently recruiting a qualified Podiatrist to start a permanent contract in a beautiful coastal Queensland location, just a 4 hour drive North of the City of Brisbane and set in one of the most beautiful bays on the coast with some fantastic sights to see you will not find it difficult to entertain friends and family on the weekends.
The successful clinician will work in a private practice in a clinical setting and see a diverse range of patients and conditions but will focus a good deal of attention on patients visiting the service with bio mechanical complaints. As part of a small team of professionals across two clinics the appointed Podiatrist will treat conditions such as; ingrown toe nails, ankle pain, joint pain, corns, diabetic issues, sports injuries among many others. If successful the Podiatrist will complete home visits and also will have the opportunity to work in rural locations adding a great deal of diversity to this already interesting vacancy.
It would be beneficial for the Podiatrist to have at least 2 years post graduate experience due to the sometimes complex nature of the conditions and the diverse caseload that will be handled. A driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role as travel is required to homes and some remote work will also be required.
