REED Healthcare are currently recruiting a qualified Podiatrist to start a permanent contract in central location in Western Australia, just a 5 hour drive East of the City of Perth or an easy 1 hour flight and set in a family orientated, vibrant, community town. There is also the opportunity to take this role on a fixed term basis for 4 months.
The successful clinician will work in a private practice in a clinical setting and see a diverse range of patients and conditions from aged care to diabetic foot care. This is a busy service with an onsite surgeon. As part of a small team of professionals across two clinics the appointed Podiatrist will treat conditions such as; ingrown toe nails, ankle pain, joint pain, corns, diabetic issues, sports injuries among many others. If successful the Podiatrist will need to start quickly and work through a backlog of patients. This is a great opportunity to work in a rural location adding diversity to this already interesting vacancy.
Remuneration is commission based and with little competition in the area the patient list is substantial making OTE in the region of $1500-$2000 per week.
There are two vacancies with this client, one in a coastal location and one in central WA so flexibility will be required, as will travel between the clinics to cover leave. It would be beneficial for the Podiatrist to have at least 1 year post graduate experience due to the autonomy required and the diverse caseload that will be handled. A driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role as travel is required to homes and some remote work will also be required.
