The client designs and manufactures medium & heavy mechanical products for the defence industry.
Working directly from engineering drawings on toughened RQT steel, you will be working on medium sized fabrications from 4mm up to 20mm thickness and up to 1200mm-500mm in size. Some of the job will be jig work.
You must be a time-served Plater with experience in a large engineering / manufacturing environment, and be able to display post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role. The ability to read 3rd Angle Projection drawings is also preferable. The post is due to last for 2 months, though may go on to be longer term depending on new forcasted orders.
