Job Description
Priorities production support requests and ensuring any issues are fully assessed and resolved.
Plan and implement production support request solutions in a technical environment
Investigate and resolve issues while assisting software enhancements
Communicate with end users, management and development teams
Control support of software releases
Provide Oracle Database and Application Server support
Provide On Call support between 7am & 10pm
Person Specification
This role would be suitable for a candidate with excellent working knowledge ( 3+ years ) of PL/SQL programming, Oracle 8i-10g DB experience, Oracle Forms, TOAD, Oracle Discoverer.
You will have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with end users, management and developers
You will have the ability to work well under pressure and effectively in a team environment.
Education: Hold a third level degree or appropriate professional qualification.
