PHP Web Developer - Permanent - Nottingham

My client is a rapidly growing website development company offering a diverse range of products and services. They are looking for a PHP Web Developer to join their development team in Nottingham.

General Description:     

  • To provide a range of services from scoping, estimating, delivering, testing and supporting web applications written in PHP and Microsoft SQL Server.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proven commercial experience in PHP.
  • Proven experience of technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience working with relational databases such as MySQL & MSSQL.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues between IE6-9, Chrome and Firefox.

Preferred Technical Experience (but not essential)

  • Experience of designing visual elements of websites.
  • Experience of working with CodeIgniter or other MVC frameworks.
  • Experience of developing with JavaScript frameworks, in particular, MooTools.
  • Experience of RightNow CX.

Personal Requirements

  • Personable and able to represent the company in front of the client.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • An organized approach to your work and very good attention to detail.
