Our client is currently seeking a PHP developer to join our dynamic and friendly team where you will have the opportunity to further your skills.
As a PHP developer an understanding of modern coding conventions such as OOP, MVC and Frameworks is expected, as is a proven ability to build bespoke applications from start to finish. You will be writing well structured, reusable, modular, annotated code and implementing open source or prewritten products and source code libraries. Projects will be carried out to a high specification with consideration given to security and performance
The successful candidate will be responsible for self-managing their workload and maintaining monthly maintenance budgets, alongside one off development projects, which will require accurate timescales to manage workload accordingly.
Also the candidate will work with a team, individually and with clients so good communication and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients is essential.
A minimum of two years previous hands-on development and design experience is essential, with an in depth knowledge of PHP, AJAX, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, XML and JavaScript..
knowledge in developing mobile applications would be beneficial but is not essential.
Salary: £20k - £25k including benefits
