An excellent position has arisen in Great Yarmouth for a Pharmacist in a pharmacy that delivers a variety of services and with medium dispensing volume. The role is 33.5 hours over 3 weekdays and the location can be reached easily if you are living in Norwich.

The pharmacy is well-staffed by a motivated team who require support and training as they progress through NVQ qualifications. The branch is service-focused, delivering a number of pharmacy services including MURs, EHC, Smoking Cessation and also a number of private services such as Flu vaccinations and Malarone by PGD. There is lots of scope to maintain and grow the service provision and you will be tasked with building on the already successful service provision, therefore you will have a passion for delivering pharmacy services to customers. There is also large potential to grow script volumes further through pro-actively promoting the repeat service to customers and building relations with other health professionals.

This position will require excellent clinical, communication and man management skills and an added interest in training and mentoring others along with an excellent drive to grow the business further.

The hours are 3 long days on Wed, Thurs and Fri of each week (8.30am to 9.00pm). Salary is very competitive and on par with full time hours, despite the role being only 33.5 hours per week.

Candidate Skills Required:

• A UK registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC Registration number.
• Pharmacy Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organisation, delegation and team leadership skills.
• Commercial focus and ability to drive the business forward through excellent customer service, building relationships and service provision.
• Enthusiasm for the new pharmacy contract and additional services including MURs.
• Evidence of training, coaching and motivating others.
