Personal Lines Broker

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experience Personal Lines Broker/ Personal Lines Account Handler to join a reputable and well established insurance brokerage based in Newcastle.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing an excellent level of service to a portfolio of existing clients looking after their household, travel and motor insurance needs. Although you will deal with predominantly existing business, mid term amendments and renewals, you may also be required to assist with new business quotations and processing etc. Most of the clients will be mid to high net worth in nature with a wide range of risks that need to be covered. You will work in a team supporting the client facing relationship managers.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have extensive experience dealing with personal lines insurances ideally in a broking environment. You will have had exposure to household, travel and motor insurances, processing renewals, actioning changes and handling new business. A solid CV with minimal gaps is essential, as are excellent communication skills, a professional, polite and organised approach to work.
