Pensions Director

We are searching for a Pensions Director for a leading Pensions administrator to report directly to the board. You will be expected to manage and oversee the pension admin function including all aspects of operational control and systems, legislative matters and client relationships.

Duties:

• Managing the provision of pensioner trustee services
• Ensuring pensions administration systems effective, efficient and compliant
• Ensuring employers and scheme members’ requirements are met
• Pension specific compliance, regulatory and Data Protection issues and liaising with the Group Risk department
• Dealing with the MFSA on relevant issues
• Developing existing and new client relationships
• Involvement in the approved products committee for the approval of investment managers, IFAs etc. for pension scheme investments.
• Organising and preparing (as appropriate) pension scheme accounts ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Developing pension products for the various markets - local and 'international’
• Management/leadership of division and staff
• Setting & monitoring divisional budget and KPIs
• Setting & monitoring objectives for staff
• Undertake performance reviews

Experienced requied:

• Experience in 3rd party pensions administration
• Experience in a similar senior role leading a team
• Experience in both DB & DC schemes
• Experience in transfers of pensions from UK an advantage but not essential
• Competent manager of people and systems.
• Team player
