Pension Project Manager

Our client one of the UK’s leading pension’s software and services providers is looking for a Project Manager to undertake management of both major and minor projects to ensure successful delivery of the firm’s bespoke software.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

• Ensuring that projects produce the required products, within specified constraints of time and cost. The projects must produce a system that is capable of achieving the benefits defined in the business case.
• Continuously developing a professional, technical and commercially aware approach.
• Assisting the account director to build the account.
• Motivation, management and development of staff.

Successful candidates will have previous experience of being a Project Manager of a large scale systems development project. Pensions knowledge would be a bonus but is not essential. You will possess excellent programming skills and a wide knowledge of networking and databases. Candidates will have excellent analytical skills, someone with a degree in a mathematical or other numerate subject would be desirable but this is not a 'must have’.
