We are looking for an experienced payroll / finance clerk to join our busy and expanding Payroll team. You will be part of the team (reporting to the payroll manager) responsible for the entire end to end weekly payroll process. This includes: collation of hours, PAYE, new starters, leavers, holiday pay, SMP, SSP and expenses, ensuring all information is gathered ahead of payroll deadlines, input accurately and checked, and dealing with employee payroll queries.? In addition providing cover for the Management Accountant with parts of the sales ledger.

Key Skills Required.

Extensive experience of a computerised payroll system is essential. Experience of using Tempaid would be advantageous;

Current knowledge of HMRC legislation. e.?g.? NI rates, statutory payments etc.

Strong MS Outlook, Excel and Word skills.

Understanding of a sales ledger.

Flexibility with hours during peak periods of work is essential.?

Experience of HR administration is desirable.?
