Purpose

This is a unique opportunity for an outstanding part time Payroll and Benefits Officer who wishes to contribute towards the seamless delivery of the payroll and benefit service for a growing and vibrant gaming company.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Processing the in house monthly payroll, and year-end P11Ds/ P60's;
  • Responsible for manually calculating statutory payments, new starters, amendments and leavers;
  • Entering tax documents, starters, leavers and, amendments and ad hoc arrears on the Cascade payroll system;
  • Ensure that payroll amendments have been approved by senior management for payment;
  • Coordinating all company benefits arrangements (i.e. PMI, EAP, death in service, eye care, taste cards and referral bonus) and pension processes;
  • Entering data onto the Cascade payroll system and updating and maintaining information;
  • Be a first point of contact for payroll and benefit queries from third parties, staff and the HR team;
  • Producing of monthly reports including headcount;
  • Absence monitoring;
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, such as the annual salary review process.

Professional expertise  

It is essential that the post holder:

  • Degree educated in Finance or Human Resource related fields;
  • Has solid payroll and benefits background
  • Experience with payroll systems, in particular Cascade
  • Excellent data entry accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
  • Possess strong numerical and communication skills;

  • Has good organizational skills;
  • Has the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team;
  • Is computer literate with a good grasp of Microsoft Excel.
