Overview
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to work within a well established and highly successful company operating within the automotive sector. You will be required to ensure that employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with their contracts of employment and government legislation.
About You
* Monthly Payroll. Prepare and input information into payroll software system for the Monthly Payroll and run in its entirety.
* Input information for New Employees and process associated paperwork i.e., P45 or generate P46, copy of staff requisition to Payroll Manager, and terms and condition to HR Dept.
* Process leavers, create and send P45 and where appropriate tax credit forms and SSP1 forms.
* Input car scheme payment figures, calculate and input car scheme top up figures.
* Input changes to terms and conditions for existing employees, copy of staff requisition to Payroll Manager, and terms and conditions to HR Dept.
* Input changes to employee personnel details, e.g bank account and address details.
* Input statutory changes, p45, p46, p6, p9, tax credit stop/start, student loan, court orders.
* When necessary cover for holidays and sickness in order to produce the payrolls within deadlines.
* In the absence of the Payroll Manager, where necessary perform tasks within her remit to ensure the smooth running of the department.
* Liaise with line managers in respect of payroll queries.
* General ledger journals transfer the costs from one cost centre to another.
* Time and Attendance System.
o Input new employees and create a swipe card.
o Input changes to shifts, overtime payments and holidays. Leavers to the leaves company.
o Print monthly exception reports and ensure that all exceptions have been cleared.
* Print weekly clock cards and absent reports. Manage general day-to-day queries.
* Complete forms for statutory bodies. Complete employment and mortgage references.
* Produce listings of employees. to Bought Ledger, Car Scheme Controller, Reception once a month, and to Company
Secretary once a quarter. Leavers report for Car Scheme controller once a month.
