We currently have an exciting opportunity within our department team for a Partnerships Officer to join our team based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. The role is full time working 37 hours a week on a permanent basis. The annual salary is £27,313.65 plus excellent benefits! The role will involve delivering intensive housing management services in the main to Young People living in a supported housing service but also to a range of other client groups, including direct access homeless schemes, people with learning disabilities and mental health problems when necessary.
The job will involve working as part of a team to ensure consistency and quality of service and work towards achieving value for money and continuous improvement of the services. This will be monitored via challenging performance targets for voids, arrears and bad debts. The post will also be responsible for monitoring the management agreements between First Wessex and their partners and ensuring that all rights and responsibilities are upheld
The post will be based in one of our schemes for Young People and be responsible to the Partnership’s Team Leader. This role is subject to a CRB check.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Housing Management or Support Qualification - desirable or committed to studying for a professional qualification
- 2 years experience of providing housing management to vulnerable Young People in a supported housing environment
- Experience of working with other vulnerable client groups
- Understanding of the Supporting People Framework
- Dealing with Anti Social behaviour and remedies
- Excellent team work skills with the ability to work as an individual
- Knowledge of Housing Law, Tenancy Agreements/Licences, Possession Documentation/Proceedings, Management Agreements/Service Level Agreements and knowledge of full range of services entailed within Supporting People
