Organisation Description
Our client are a growing SME in the FMCG sector based near Basinsgtoke. They are now seeking to recruit an additional member of their team in a part time capacity.
Job Description
This role will provide and be responsible for comprehensive, efficient and effective management accounting. Supporting the General Manager by supplying financial reports, analysis and recommendations to enable sound business decisions to be made; this role will also supervise an Assistant to ensure day to day financial transactions are kept up to date.
Responsibilities will include:
Producing & reconciling Management Accounts
Liaising with the European German Parent Company
Credit Control
Forecasting and Budgeting
Implement Forecasting and Budget reporting
Cash Flow & Liquidity planning
European VAT reporting
Liaise with auditors to co-ordinate the annual audit and any ad-hoc audits – e.g. bank or VAT
Supervise and develop the Accounts Assistant and provide cover as required in their absence.
Research and report on factors influencing business performance
Liaise with auditors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue and Companies House
To propose and discuss changes and improvements to company’s current finance and accounting procedures, including financial controls
Person Specification
Candidates must be fully Qualified with a strong Management Accounting background and ideally experience gained within FMCG / retails / sales or similar industry.
Personality fit is very important as this role will form part of a small team and ideally candidates will have experience of Navision.
This is a part time role around 20 hours per week and there is flexibility as to when these hours are carried out. Please apply for more information.
