Job Description

A stand-alone role within a wider administration function, this role will have broad responsibilities, and further developments should be expected in the years to come.

The main duties will include:
- working with the Director on annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
- working with the Director on costing and pricing mechanisms, and the creation of charging summaries both annually and quarterlywith the objective of correctly and accurately allocating costs to businesses, whilst recovering profits
- producing draft management accounts from the accounting system on a periodic basis, for review by Director
- preparation of cashflow forecasts on a weekly basis to enable cash requests to be made to clients regularly
- production of a balance sheet with full reviews on a monthly basis to ensure all balances are understood, reconciled and allocated accordingly
- raising invoices to clients on periodic basis, covering budget / forecast charges, actual charges and a final reconciliation invoice based on the period P&L
- liaising with Head Office to agree periodic management fees
- ensuring that all invoices are processed, coded and authorised on a monthly basis
- ensuring that all sales invoices / credit notes are similarly coded

Person Specification

Candidates are expected to be looking for a 4-day per week, 30 hour position, and have experience of producing monthly management accounts; ideally to Finance Manager level.

You will ideally be Qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA and demonstrate the ability to work accurately under minimal supervision within a large organisation.

Applicants should demonstrate exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work in a client-facing environment, where presentation skills can be of vital importance.
