Herts Urgent Care is proud to deliver the extremely successful NHS 111 Service in Hertfordshire and is now launching the service across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
NHS 111 are a none emergency number that makes it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services.
Due to this expansion, we are now recruiting for Call Handlers to deliver an effective and competent level of accurate call handling for the callers of the NHS 111 service within our Peterborough call centre.
Part time 25.5 hours, consists of Days, Evenings, Weekends and Overnight shift patterns which
Part time 16.25 hours which consists of Evenings and Weekends only Shift patterns
Part time 16.25 Weekends Only Shift Patterns
We are looking for candidates who have a good level of literacy and numeracy, including Maths and English and have a minimum of 4 GCSE's at grade C or above.
Preferably a background in Customer Service with experience of call handling or telephone work. You must be computer literate and be able to work calm and efficiently under pressure. Most importantly you must be able to commit to 24 hour rotating shift pattern 365 days a year. This includes working days, evenings/nights, weekends and public holidays. 16.25 Part time hours will predominantly be evenings and weekends.
The Assessment Centre will be held on Friday 10th January 2014 at the Call Centre in Peterborough

If Successful at the Assessment Day Training will commenc on the 20th January, although these are part time positions, the training will be full time Monday to Friday (9:30 to 16:30) for three weeks.
