My client is seeking a Part time Accountant, to take responsibility for the accounting processes and producing accurate monthly financial reports, in a high transaction environment, for a not-for-profit organisation.
Key responsilities will include:
Monthly:
Quarterly:
Annually:
The ideal candidate will have at least three years relevant experience, strong technical accounting skills, proven ability to manage their own work load and that of the team to ensure deadlines are met. Completion of the AAT qualification is expected as a minimum requirement, and advanced excel skills are essential.
The role offers a pleasant working environment with the support of a strong, stable team, reporting into the Finance Manager who works off sight for a significant amount of time. The role is expected to require 15 hours per week, these hours can be set at times to suit the individual.
Key responsilities will include:
Monthly:
- Completion of the month end close.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly financial and management reports with analysis and commentary.
Quarterly:
- VAT responsibility
Annually:
- Production of draft statutory accounts with audit file.
