Are you a successful paraplanner who is on route to completing Level 4 RDR?
Our client is a specialist financial services group which makes loans, trades securities and provides advice and investment management solutions to a wide range of clients. They have got a great opportunity to take on an experienced paraplanner to support their nominated advisors and clients, ensuring that a competent service is delivered at all times. Reporting to the client services team, principle responsibilities include;
- Carrying out research on client’s investments.
- Drafting of Investment reports on behalf of, and under the direction of Advisers.
- Completion of advice and completion letters on behalf of Advisers.
- Occasional face-to-face contact with clients.
- Dealing with clients on behalf of Advisers and other departments.
- Attending client meetings with Advisers when required.
- Facilitate processing of investment business.
- Providing day to day support for field based advisers.
- Preparation of application forms and other documents for client meetings.
- Reinvestment process for maturing investments including arranging appointments.
- Providing statistics for monthly reporting.
- Incoming letters, covering all aspects of client instruction and enquiries.
- Withdrawal requests.
- Written communication with clients.
- Client in-bound telephone calls.
- Explanation of company literature and information.
The ideal candidate will be level 4 Diploma qualified, or currently working towards RDR by December 2012, with at least 3 years experience of paraplanning in an IFA environment. You will be competent in understanding, following and demonstrating compliance that apply to the business and role and will be able to demonstrate strong planning and organisation as well as fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.
