A fantastic opportunity for an Oracle DBA to secure a position within a leading software technology company just north of London. We have grown rapidly, are performing better than ever and want to constantly evolve our talented team. As a ground breaking and innovative company the Oracle DBA will be ensuring all production databases are running smoothly on a day to day basis.

We are looking for a highly motivated Oracle DBA with the below capabilities:

* Strong experience of working as an Oracle Database Administrator
* Excellent knowledge of Oracle installation, config, tuning & performance management
* Unix scripting skills, ideally knowledge of RAC, Dataguard, Greenplum and SQL tuning
* Strong communication skills and a very good academic background

Your main focus as an Oracle DBA will be to ensure availability and performance of databases to support critical business operations. You will also be advising and guiding development teams on database design, in addition to installing, patching and upgrading databases in a production environment.
