Acting as the Operations Manager one objective of this role will be to understand the geography and stakeholders in the relevant area together with the other existing providers. As such the post holder will understand the capacity for growth and business development locally and develop a plan to secure it.
Direct responsibility for day to day delivery of all contracts within the area at agreed levels of income, margin and quality.
Identifying local opportunities for business growth in both sub contract and direct contract roles and ensuring these opportunities are taken and implemented at acceptable levels of income and margin.
Ensuring allof my clientsresources are being effectively maximised to deliver the optimum contract value and customer service.
Day to day accountability for driving Performance Management, Recruitment & Retention, Succession Planning, Absence Management, Talent Management and ensuring compliance with all legal aspects I.e. Safeguarding, H&S, E&D and quality standards such as OFSTED, Matrix and Merlin.
?« Demonstrable experience as a successful Operations Manager and as a leader.
?« Leadership and coaching skills with experience of succession and talent management.
?« A significant and demonstrable track record in successful and profitable delivery of contracts in the area of government funded training programmes.
?« Experience of embedding an effective managing performance culture in a result orientated business.
?« Track record of business development, negotiation, sales presentations and customer development.
?« Analytical minded with experience of generating MI reports to track and indentify performance opportunities and threats.
?« Experience of both contract start and end with knowledge and understanding of all aspects of TUPE.
?« Highly confident, approachable and personable with the gravitas, communication, networking and presentation skills to gain respect at all levels.
?« Demonstrable experience of managing all budget aspects including costs associated to human capital.
