Hamlin Knight are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to work for a dynamic and market leading company based in Nuneaton.

As Operations Manager you will be reporting to the General Manager and part of an executive team of 3 with responsibility for 12 direct reports.

You will be responsible for the Operational function of the business including management of 3 departments, regulatory compliance and the IT infrastructure.

Job responsibilities,

Hands on approach to oversee the day to day operations in Customer Service, Warehouse and Field Tech departments
Mentor and coach direct reports (3) for their personal development but also with regards to their HR responsibilities
HR responsibilities in managing absences, performance, employment law and appraisals
Responsible for department budget up to £1 million and will be expected to contribute to the efficiency of the Profit and Loss with prudent resource management
Working alongside senior managers
Oversee the maintenance and management of stock within the uk warehouse facility
To manage Health and Safety systems and processes within the Operation department and advise when required on other areas of the business
Ensuring that ISO standards for Quality, Health and Safety are ad eared to
To drive continuous improvement, increasing efficiency and effectiveness throughout the operation
To manage and maintain 3 UK leased sites
Occasional field work with Tradeshows and instillation's
Maintain the IT infrastructure, supported by the administration assistant and external consultant
To oversee the maintenance of the company fleet vehicles

Qualifications and skills required,

Preferably degree qualification
Preferably NEBOSH or IOSH certification
Strong people management skills
ISO auditor experience desirable
Stock Management and Procurement
Customer Service experience
Maybe in a similar role, such as procurement management and looking to further career within Operations Management
