Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading energy company in Norwich as an Operations Manager.

An experienced operations manager is required to join the company’s growing team to take responsibility for the delivery of our subscription research services.

Key tasks of the role include:

  • Co-ordinating delivery schedule across subscription research portfolio, owning work-flow processes with view to optimising efficiency and effectiveness of those processes.
  • Championing editorial function to ensure integrity of operational processes, quality as perceived by customer and responsiveness to customer needs and feedback.
  • Managing product development timetables and launch planning (from idea, market testing through to marketing and customer service).
  • Co-ordinating resource allocation decisions to ensure right balance between delivery, product development, sales and marketing, external interactions and team development.
  • Integrating career development plans with operational decisions and processes.
  • Running performance management reporting process to provide feedback to staff that they can act on as well as guidance for management.
  • Linking with IT and systems support strategy to facilitate operational delivery processes.

Experience and Skills required

  • Related education and work experience desirable (3 to 5 years minimum assumed necessary to perform this role).
  • Awareness of digital and on-line content provision an advantage.
  • Team and project management experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in the energy industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of data sources.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
  • Motivated and self-starting.
