Operations Manager (Facilities Management - Retail). c£Negotiable plus benefits. Managing a small but highly specialised team in North East England, you will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for the Planned and Reactive maintenance for the centre and services including Fabric, Plant machinery and equipment
- Subcontractor management including regular reviews and setting performance objectives to ensure high quality service delivery
- Conduct regular building inspections identifying faults and determining costs for budgetary purposes
- Procurement of parts and materials
- Budgetary control ensuring targets are not exceeded
- Keep maintenance records accurate and up to date including O&M manuals and asset register
- Liase closely with emergency services and other statutory bodies
- Ensure all targets are achieved in relation to sustainability
- Ensure compliance with the relevant standards and legislation
- Liase closely with retailers in emergency situations
- Man-management responsibility involving the conducting of performance appraisals
- Participate in an on call rota in relation to out of hours emergency cover
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Review and develop the Centre’s Emergency plans, Disaster Recovery & Contingency Planning.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Desirable:
- IOSH
- BCSC Diploma in Shopping Centre Management
EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Experience within fabric and M&E maintenance environment
- A proven track record of sub-contractor management
- A proven ability to manage departmental budgets ensuring targets are not exceeded
- Retail/Shopping centre experience
