Operations Manager (Facilities Management - Retail).  c£Negotiable plus benefits.  Managing a small but highly specialised team in North East England, you will be responsible for the following:


  • Responsible for the Planned and Reactive maintenance for the centre and services including Fabric, Plant machinery and equipment
  • Subcontractor management including regular reviews and setting performance objectives to ensure high quality service delivery
  • Conduct regular building inspections identifying faults and determining costs for budgetary purposes
  • Procurement of parts and materials
  • Budgetary control ensuring targets are not exceeded
  • Keep maintenance records accurate and up to date including O&M manuals and asset register
  • Liase closely with emergency services and other statutory bodies
  • Ensure all targets are achieved in relation to sustainability
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant standards and legislation
  • Liase closely with retailers in emergency situations
  • Man-management responsibility involving the conducting of performance appraisals
  • Participate in an on call rota in relation to out of hours emergency cover
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Review and develop the Centre’s Emergency plans, Disaster Recovery & Contingency Planning.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable:


  • IOSH
  • BCSC Diploma in Shopping Centre Management

EXPERIENCE

Essential: 


  • Experience within fabric and M&E maintenance environment
  • A proven track record of sub-contractor management
  • A proven ability to manage departmental budgets ensuring targets are not exceeded
  • Retail/Shopping centre experience
