My client a leading facilities management and construction company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is urgently looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for a permanent career opportunity.

To provide effective and high quality Technical and Operational Management of all Facilities Management Contracts in Saudi Arabia
• Effectively manage the Transition from Construction of Client’s facilities through Handover to Operations based on Operations Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Management System and CAFM System requirements
• Ensure compliance with Client Contracts, Service Level Agreements and Performance Parameters
• Provide effective and proactive management, supervisory, mentoring and training to technical and operations staff & Technical Services Subcontractors
• Effective management and compliance with Quality Management System, CAFM System & Help Desk
• Coordination & liaison with Support Services Manager and Finance Manager
• Produce monthly and ad hoc reports on Technical and Operational performance
• Develop & implement customer focused & sustainable business relationships with all stakeholders including owners, hotel operators, tenants, local authorities & customers.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 - 10 years operations experience in the Middle East preferably in the hospitality and Facilities Management sectors.


• High level competency in managing the transition and handover of assets, systems & services including attendance during Contractor Commissioning and organising Technical staff training with Build Contractors and System / Equipment Vendors

• Capability of effectively implement, manage and communicate (both written and oral) the Company’s Quality Management System and associated business processes to FM staff and Subcontractors
• High level of competency and skill in maintenance management, maintenance planning & scheduling, maintenance resource deployment and maintenance management of staff and Specialist Contractors
• Maintenance competency and skills in large HVAC and associated Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems and Specialist Systems including but not limited to Building Management System (BMS), Standby Generation, CCTV and Access Control and associated systems
• Competency in the use and application of CAFM systems and help desks for workflow and resource & service management
• Financial competency to manage Technical Services operating budgets
• Operational competency for control, supervision, mentoring and management of manpower and Subcontractors including performance appraisals
• Proactive approach to mentoring, directives and training of Subcontractors including performance management and appraisals
