As the Operations Manager for this Insurance business you will have a real opportunity to be innovative, and influence the way in which the business treats their customers. Across the Operations team, the work is diverse for a number of reasons; not only is there the requirement to achieve sales and service targets, but there is also the wider, more strategic picture to think about.
The role
My client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager who will deliver stretching sales and service targets through effective and powerful leadership and development of others. Coupled with this, you will lead and support on various change programmes to further improve the business.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
Your previous experiences should include:
* Maximised revenue generation from Corporate Partners and/or Brokers by building and maintaining effective working relationships.
* Improvement in the quality of the customer experience across all channels, and management of effective business processes to ensure excellent customer service.
* Effective management and control of costs and productivity within operating budgets to deliver business objectives.
* Continued capability progression of the sales and service delivery teams through the development of people in terms of skills, knowledge, behaviours and performance.
* As part of a senior management team, contribution to driving cultural change and excellence in customer service delivery.
For this opportunity you will have:
* ACII or similar or Call Centre qualifications preferred
* Experience of people and operational leadership in a contact centre / target driven environment, preferably in financial services.
* Proven communication, motivation and presentation skills with experience in negotiating and relationship building with external partners.
* Proven ability to contribute to strategy development and to take the lead on the implementation and management of strategic change.
* Good understanding of contact centre operations.
* Understanding and experience of computer network telephony and e-mail systems.
