Operations Business Partner - Finance

Our client is a hugely successful and expanding Travel Company. They are looking to grow on recent impressive results by recruiting an Operations Business Partner for their Finance function.
In this newly created position, liaising with the Chief Operating Officer, you will provide insight to help management gain a better understanding of the operating cost levers and challenges in order to improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare weekly and monthly reports with operational cost analysis and variance to budget
Ongoing efficiency improvements
Liaise on ongoing basis with the Data and Business Insight Specialist to ensure that all data requirements are being met and kept current
Liaise with procurement on a monthly basis to identify opportunities to negotiate better sourcing deals
Assist the department heads with procurement of assets
Help with the training of new managers in financial literacy (in conjunction with HR)
The right person for this role will be an ambitious ideally part-qualified accountant looking to progress their skills and career in a high profile role. You will have management reporting experience (ideally in the aviation industry) and have the ability and confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
Salary: £35,000 + Study Support
