OPERATIONS ANALYST - ECOVISION SYSTEMS LTD

TETBURY - SALARY c £20 - 22K (dependant on experience)

Initial 6 month to permanent contract

Ecovision is a leading company in the dynamic and rapidly growing renewable energy sector. With our head office located near Tetbury, we are experts in the low-energy heat pump, solar PV, solar heating, biomass and under floor technologies which will heat and power the majority of the nation’s homes and businesses in the future. As a result of this phenomenal growth, we now have a fantastic and immediate opportunity for a bright operations analyst/administrator to join our rapidly growing organization. The main purpose of the roles will be three fold: 

  • Purchasing administration and analysis: including the collation of purchase requirements, materials purchase order placement and purchase invoice reconciliation. A key focus will purchased materials optimization, including establishment of stock control and purchase order systems.
  • Sales administration: supporting our direct sales teams, including collation of sales information, application status and resolving application process problems.  The role will also include development and maintenance of direct sales performance measurement and commission payments controls.
  • Registration administration: including responsibility for Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) registrations, including exception reporting and problem resolution. The role will include responsibility for establishing a system output performance tracking and management.

  As an operations analyst, your specific responsibilities will include: 

  • Working with multiple groups across the company to ensure that all materials requirements are adequately established and purchased in line with forecast and bookings
  • Working with the direct sales organization to ensure timely and accurate reporting of performance and commission payments
  • Working with the installation support team, ensuring that all installations are accurately and promptly FIT registered
  • Establishment of  effective relationships with third parties to achieve the objectives of the position
  • Shared responsibility for ensuring the achievement of installation objectives
  • Liaise effectively with all other Ecovision staff as required
  • Ingrain a culture of Continuous Improvement grounded in fact based analysis and the establishment/agreement of measurable KPIs/action plans
  • Be prepared to undertake tasks in any other areas of activity whilst the company expands. 

Ideally, we are looking for analysts with the following experience:

  • Experience in process management, including process performance improvement. This is likely to be in an administration environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis (from multiple sources) and recommending a course of action on the basis of that data

  Specific core competencies and skills

  • Strong writing and numeracy skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Developed and effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.  The ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Multi-tasking capability with strong data management, analysis and presentation
  • Ability to act independently, prioritise work and make intelligent but pragmatic business decisions whilst having the judgment to know when to discuss and gain support from others in the organization
  • Drive, energy and a relentless dissatisfaction with the status quo.  Must appreciate that this is an entrepreneurial business with demanding objectives that must be achieved quickly
  • A university degree is preferable
