Reporting to the Partner Network Operations Director your key responsibility will be to drive online product sales through the department’s main channels, websites, email marketing, search marketing, social media and mobile web products.
Sales will be generated through numerous methods including direct sales through telephone and face to face meetings, email marketing campaigns and direct mail campaigns in line with the sales and marketing plan for each service.
In addition to sales the post holder will be expected to manage varying internal spreadsheets for analysis of revenue and sales as well as managing the order process for online services products.
As part of the account management element of the role the post holder would be required to complete monthly reporting on the performance of agent websites and take on any training agents require on the website CMS, business area CRM, email marketing platform and any other digital product.
The post holder will also be expected to help the Online Marketing team in developing the online proposition for our partner agents and other clients.
Key activities
- Outbound telephone sales calls to targeted prospects
- Inbound telephone sales to prospective clients
- Follow up sales contact from direct mail and email marketing campaigns
- Managing sales to order process for mobile web and social media
- Managing department invoicing process
- Raise contracts and contract addendums for new online marketing services clients
- Agent training
- Agent website performance reporting
In addition to the above the post holder will be asked to develop their online marketing skills and experience and develop lasting relationships with digital clients.
Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential:-
- Educated to A Level or equivalent
- Understanding of online marketing products, techniques and reporting
- Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel & Word
Desirable:-
- Good understanding of Google Analytics
- Google Analytics IQ certified
- Good understanding of CMS’s
- Good knowledge of CRM’s
Skills
Essential:-
- Direct sales experience through telesales and face to face meetings
- Self-motivated and high attention to detail
- Able to manage own workloads and responsibilities
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and targets
- Enthusiasm to progress within an online marketing roll
Desirable:-
- Knowledge of Google Analytics
