A leading organisation in the publishing industry is currently seeking an Online Marketing Expert to grow and expand their online marketing activities internationally. Based in their Abingdon offices, you will join the global marketing team to help manage the Company websites, landing pages, SEO, SMM, online campaigns as well as be the voice of all social media activities driving the content across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, develop and implement social media marketing to improve brand visibility and presence as well as write professional content for channels.
- Monitor, analyze and engage in direct social media activities with respect to Company initiatives, products and service portfolio as well as drive online promotions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with journalists, key bloggers and social media influencers in their sector, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen online position.
- Understand trends in social media and online behaviour to act on emerging topics, developing an engagement strategy to support all corporate communications activities.
The successful candidate will be a service-oriented marketing professional with a strong foundation in online marketing, social media and online content writing. As well as having relevant business sector experience, you will demonstrate a passion for social networking and blogging in a B2B space. You will be Degree educated or the equivalent in marketing, communication or journalism. You will have strong IT skills, which must include SEO/SEM, HTML/basic web design as well as Drupal, Woopra or Disqus.
