Renewables Provider

We are a small but expanding company delivering Renewable Energy solutions nationally to our blue chip client base. The company is extremely successful and populated by a young, intelligent and hard-working team. Like most start-ups (this being our second year) processes are poorly
defined, practices ad-hoc, behaviours sclerotic.

We are committed to our mission of reducing the carbon emissions of Britain’s leading companies. We are passionate about the wind power, solar and biomass solutions we build. We are eager that the fun and high performing work environment for all staff should continue and develop and above all we are very keen to see our burgeoning revenues continue to flood in.

We require a literate, presentable, articulate individual to join the team and start to define those processes and ad-hoc practices. The behaviours I am afraid are set to remain highly individual. We require someone with common sense, word processing and some excel skills, who can redefine the filing system, organise our billing people, work out why however much paper we buy the printer is always empty and generally keep the place in better order.

It's a varied job. From making certain the danish arrive with the coffee, to getting key personal to the airport before the plane takes off and not afterwards, and assisting high performing and often stressed professionals get the job done, what ever it takes.

Ideally you will have some sort of experience of office management/administration or P.A. type work in the past and evidence that you were good at it. Or maybe you are a graduate, bright as a button and eager to learn. Either way you will be able to demonstrate why with a little guidance, sun-light and a company credit card you are the right person to make things happen and add value to the team.

This is primarily an office based position but you are expected to travel occasionally as you are expected to do anything that the successful completion of a task demands. Hours of work are similar to those worked in other offices, but we are flexible, to accommodate the school run/the odd hangover/the Saturday you came in, but we also expect you to be on the end of an iPhone at 9pm at night when a director arrives at his hotel to find they have never heard of him, and at 7am when the crane you booked at £8000 per hour gets stuck in a ditch. This is an enlightened and successful business. We seek enlightened and successful people.

Remuneration depends on experience and will be dramatically different if you are a graduate or someone with 5 years+ proven track record. That said we believe in generous pay schemes that reflect the qualities that you will bring with annual bonuses paid to all staff.

We are not an equal opportunities employer as we dont know what that means. We are discerning. We are looking only for committed, energetic, goal orientated talent, irrespective of gender, age, race, background or sexual orientation.

So, if you feel we are for you, please send your CV with a covering letter explaining why you might be right for us to Mr Josh Sayles, ref: ADMIN1.

Good luck.
