Organisation Description
My Client opened its Nursery in 2003, the nursery is registered to care for a maximum of 28 children at any one time. There are currently 33 children on roll, all of whom are within the early years age range. Children attend various sessions. The nursery and is registered on the Early Years Register. Opening times are Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 18.00 except for bank holidays. The nursery supports children with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language
Children are happy, settled and have formed good relationships with each other and staff. They enjoy participating in a range of activities that help them to make progress in their learning and development.
Job Description
My client require an NVQ level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse to start as soon as possible on a permanent full time basis. You will be responsible for working in the nursery undertaking various duties such as :
Participating in lesson planning
Encouraging the childrens learning
Meeting and greeting parents
Preparing food in line with food hygiene
Nappy changing and toileting
Engaging in sensory stimluation, ranging from playdo, colouring and painting
You will also be a key worker with a small group of children
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience of working in a nursery
Have an NVQ level 3 qualification
Work effectively as part of a team
Have sound understanding of safeguarding procedures
Have an in date Enhanced CRB.
