Nursery Nurse

• Wage: £6.50 -£8 p/h
• Hours: Various ad hoc shifts
• Location: St Helens & North West area
• Type: Temporary/Supply/Contract - no set hours

Job Role:

Working in a care nursery environment, we are looking for both nursery nurses and teaching assistants.

It will be based within the St helens & North West area in various childcare facilities.

General duties are or will include:

• Planning and implementing daily activities
• Assisting the children in their daily routines
• Promoting a positive atmosphere in which children can develop and learn. 

Person:

You will ideally have an NVQ 3 in Childcare and preferably have a full, clean driving licence.

You must be a hard working, reliable individual who can adapt easily to any situation. The ability to learn systems quickly and to have a keen eye for detail are also skills you must obtain.

You will be self motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and organisational skills is essential as you will be working towards deadlines. Must be able to converse with a variety of people and able to view things from other people’s prospective.

Essential:

You need to have either:

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
• All mandatory training is required to be up to date
• A current Enhanced CRB disclosure
