The Role:

An excellent blank canvass opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist in a new '100 hour’ contract pharmacy in a rare central Nottinghamshire location. You will work closely with a Pharmacy Manager and Area Manager to develop your management skills further. This pharmacy will be extremely service-driven and you will spend a large amount of your time counselling customers and delivering advanced and enhanced services.

The hours are full time, and you must be willing to work a combination of early and late shifts to be discussed further at interview stage.  The salary for this role is very competitive, based on the successful candidate’s experience and performance at interview. The company can also offer market-leading benefits, bonus, further training opportunities and a very supportive area manager.

This is an excellent position for a newly-qualified pharmacist who is keen to move into a Community Pharmacy environment or for an experienced pharmacist who is keen to focus on delivering services and be very patient-focused, whilst developing into a Branch Manager (if desired) with strong support and training.

Candidate Skills Required:

• You MUST be a General Pharmaceutical Council registered Pharmacist or due to qualify, summer 2011.

• You are an excellent communicator who is confident at networking with patients and local healthcare professionals.
• You are service-focussed and enthusiastic for the new pharmacy contract and are keen to develop and grow services.
• You must be commercially aware and keen to grow a pharmacy business.
