An independently owned company our client help organisations acquire the technology they need to achieve their targets and goals and offer the highest level of customer service and product knowledge possible. With over 2 decades of experience within the IT Sales industry our client are an established company who possess a strong relationship with leading IT vendors.
You will be required to proactively prospect into a range of customer accounts include live/new and dormant accounts. Further tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Prioritising personal sales activities and customer / prospect contact in order to meet and exceed designated monthly sales targets
- Responding to incoming calls and following up sales enquiries by telephone, e-mail, fax and post
- From time to time it may be necessary to visit clients as required by sales management
- Carrying out telesales activities to agreed levels and timescales
- Ensuring that all approved transactions are documented accurately and executed by the relevant signing authority at the customer in an efficient manner
- Attending and presenting at internal and external meetings.
The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to attend training and development programmes as required by sales management in order to acquire the knowledge, techniques and skills required for success.
- 1-2 years’ experience in telesales
- Experience in financial services/ Mortgage advice / Bank of Scotland Asset management
- CRM Experience, 80 calls a day telesales activities - 2 hours call time
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Sales presentations, negotiations and closing techniques/skills
- Objection handling
- Ability to work on own initiative with a "can-do" attitude and also work as part of a sales team
- Proven experience and successful track record in telesales and account development
