The successful candidate will be responsible for growing a SME book of business and service this book the old fashioned way. This is a brilliant insurance broker position where growth and book development will result in higher take home. This is a very favourable opportunity for anyone bringing with them contacts or the ability to hit the ground running and bring on new business. The opportunity to have a book to attack is there but the success of the candidate will lie in growing the book themselves.

Responsibilities

Primarily an external position requiring you to visit clients and following up on generated and self generated leads to secure the sale
Communication with the local office providing feedback to account handlers and directors for growth strategies
Building and maintaining positive and hopefully lasting business relations
Represent the company in the best light promoting values and a customer focused attitude

Skills

A proven ability to sell commercial insurance products
A good knowledge of the insurance products and the market at large
Good communication skills to people at all levels
A positive sales attitude with care given to customer service
