This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding Network and Security Systems Engineer, who must be CCNA/ CCNP certified, to secure a hands-on position within our internationally renowned award winning organisation based in Luton. In this role, you will be responsible for network elements such as Cisco hardware and configuration, IP management and oversight of firewall change requests. You will be monitoring the data-centre network infrastructure, including switches, routers and firewalls, and be in charge of the oversight of firewall change requests.
We are looking for a skilled Network and Security Systems Engineer with the below capabilities:
* Strong hands-on experience with Cisco network infrastructure
* Ideally the ability to manage firewall rule change requests
* Able to remotely support Windows and Linux server environment
* Experience managing Checkpoint Secure Client VPN or equivalent enterprise VPN
* Must be CCNA/ CCNP certified
* Engineering experience gained within a busy SaaS environment would be beneficial
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
You will manage the Cisco network device configurations to ensure smooth operation, as well as support Technical Service team members with general Windows and Linux engineering tasks.
