As a Network and Infrastructure Manager you will be responsible for the administration, security and development of the companies Information Network. You will also be responsible for the management of the ICT Service desk ensuring calls are completed to the relevant standards.
Responsibilities
- Management of the company`s infrastructure and all relevant hardware including switches, firewalls, routers, etc.
- Management of the ICT Service Desk.
- Management of the company`s phone system.
- Management and Progression of the company`s information security management aligned to IS027001.
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all the company`s data.
- Deployment and management of all company hardware such as servers, PCs, laptops, printers etc.
- Create and manage all connections with external parties and maintain their availability.
- Implementation, testing and management of all software used by the company including antivirus, security updates, etc.
- Management of all email systems.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar management role.
- Previous experience of working within Microsoft terminal server environment.
- Ability to work under pressure both within a team and as an individual.
- Ability to plan, schedule and monitor own work within short time horizons.
- Ability to absorb technical information when it is presented systematically and apply it effectively.
- An understanding and ability to use appropriate methods tools and applications
- Sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues and external parties.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- A rational and organised approach to work.
- Ability to manage staff and ensure they meet relevant targets.
Desirables
- Previous experience of working in the legal sector.
- Previous experience of a Case management System i.e. Eclipse Proclaim.
- Good knowledge of Business Continuity.
- Previous experience or qualification of Information Security.
- Previous experience of Proclaim case management system.
- Professional qualification such as CISCO CCNA, MCSA or similar.
