We have a great opportunity for a .NET developer who likes variety and problem solving while being friendly and communicative. My client is an expanding company in this sector and is offering an attractive package for the right candidates. You should enjoy fixing technical problems, providing support and have very good customer service skills
My client needs an experienced .NET Support Analyst to work within their technical support team to resolve issues and improve functionality on the bespoke .NET applications and complex websites that we've built for our clients.
Required experience:
You will need at least 2 years experience in the following:
- ASP.NET
- Microsoft C#
- Basic HTML
The following skills are preferable, though we'll provide you with training where required:
- SQL Server
- (X)HTML / CSS
- IIS 6 / 7
- EPiServer CMS
You will help to resolve technical issues and implement new functionality on the .NET applications used by our clients on their websites.
Reporting to the Head of Technical Support, we need you to:
- Evaluate website faults and issues raised by our clients and diagnose a solution.
- Deliver the support required to resolve the fault or issue, using .NET & HTML.
- Fully test your work prior to deployment.
- Communicate with the client before, during and after your work.
- Document changes and update support tickets.
- Work alongside other support analysts and provide a technical escalation point.
- Assist the Head of Technical Support in planning the development and improvement of the support department.
