.Net Snr Developer (C#/VB/Agile/SaaS), Retail Aps, Gatwick 45k

My client has over 2,000 existing customers and is winning a further 30 new clients per month. It develops, delivers and supports software solutions for Point Of Sale (POS), Accounting, Stock and other key business functions for a retail business. The hardware and software is prepared, bundled and delivered ready for onsite parameterisation and training.

We are looking for a developer based in my Clients' new Gatwick office. They have over 2000 clients deployed into a Windows Microsoft environment. The Company is undertaking significant project to migrate the solution to the Cloud (SaaS) and onward develop that solution with new features. Situated in a growing team you will be a confident individual.

My client provides their accounting system (ERP /EPOS) to a number of sectors, currently, they have over 3,000 customers and this is growing rapidly.

The role requires a technically competent developer with at least three years of experience and the ability to show good development and design skills. Clear attention to detail and focus on the quality of solutions are important aspects of this role.

The successful candidate will be required to show the following:

• Quality development of Windows and Web applications including security considerations
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008 interaction with .Net applications
• Knowledge of cloud applications and development of secure and efficient synchronous systems to and from the cloud
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008 interaction with .Net applications
• Commercial experience of TDD or BDD
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008 interaction with .Net applications
• Good inter-personal skills in dealing with support and sales as well as other developers
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008 interaction with .Net applications
• Commercial experience of working in a Agile Environment ( XP / Scrum / Hybrid)
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008 interaction with .Net application
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008 interaction with .Net applications
• The following skills are not essential but would be very favourable:
• Extensive Visual Basic 6 experience
• Knowledge of IOC /DI , Mocking, CI , MVC / MVP
• User experience design skills
• EPOS development experience.

Remuneration:

to £45k + pa this is a starting salary and flexible for the right candidate
