Our client is a leading FMCG organisation who offers products to all major UK retailers. The business is now seeking an experienced NAM with grocery experience to devise and execute joint business plans taking the business forward.
As NAM, you will own the business relationship with the customer to maximise customer sales & profit. You will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of the account specific business plan. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop account strategies in accordance with overall channel strategy. You will conduct regular reviews of business performance and promotion strategies whilst partnering with the Marketing team in promotional development.
Key criteria & skills:
- Solid experience of managing national retailers at head office level within the Food industry
- Forecast, budget and track account revenues and cost
- Joint Business Planning experience
- Experience of using market data (Kanatar, Dunnhumby, IRI, Nielsen etc..)
- Customer relationship management through selling and negotiation
- Ability to effectively monitor category performance versus plan and communicate accordingly
- Customer forecasting (S&OP)
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Degree educated
- Must be comfortable with visiting Head Office in the East Midlands
