Murex Support Lead

Role Description
 Responsible for overall production support of the Murex and MLC application at the client site
 Responsible for the performance of the resources working as a part of the support team (including bank's internal and external support resource)
 Classifications between support calls and change requests
 Interface with other project teams, business users, IT, other vendors etc.
 Identify, track, and report risks.
 Report periodic progress to the Project Manager
 Execute assigned task / issues, as per requirements
 Report progress on issues on a daily basis through issue logs
 Execute corrective actions to ensure that all assigned issues are resolved
 Implement and run support processes under ITIL umbrella of Incident/Problem/Change/Release/Knowledge Management
 Provide Management reporting - Support Issues/Incidents volumes/SLAs
 Prioritization with business and resource management - internal & external
 Take full ownership of support issues and provide resolution, incident reports and corrective actions.
 Ability to take call on quality of changes to production, question, approve or reject changes to production system.
Skills Required
Mandatory Skills:
Technical/Application:
 Overall Murex Application knowledge
 Front office/Simulations/P&L/Workflows-MxML/Trade life cycle/Reports-Datamart/Interfaces/EOD
 Hands on and in-depth Experience in at least few of the above areas like MXML/Reports/EOD for Technical background, Simulation/Pricing/Pnl/Dynamic tables for Functional background
 Good understanding of UNIX/Database, Murex Architecture
Domain Knowledge:
 Should possess an understanding of financial markets
 Basic knowledge on financial instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives,Currency Derivatives,Swaps, Futures, Options, FRA, etc.
Soft Skills:
 Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, users/management/internal teams/vendors
 Ability to maintain good relationship with all stakeholders
 Ability to handle high pressure and stressful situations
 Team management and leadership quality to run the team strongly in the bank
Desired Skills:
 Strong product knowledge of IR Derivatives/FX/MM.
 Experience in setting up ITIL compliant support structure.
 ITIL Certified/Trained
Remarks
Candidate must be flexible to travel and willing to work out of Middle East. This role will be based out of Singapore office but deployed to Middle East on project.
