Multi Skilled Shift Engineer

Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment - PLC and Inverter knowledge - to work on rotating shift pattern as a member of the maintenance department - based Bromyard, Worcestershire/Herefordshire - salary £10.70 - £14.35 per hr. Dependent on shift allowance.

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer capable of undertaking fault diagnosis of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

Your primary job responsibility will be to keep downtime to a minimum for a company involved in the automotive parts manufacturing industry

All candidates should have PLC and Inverter knowledge and be capable of fault finding on PLCs

Reporting to the Works Engineering Manager, the day to day duties of the Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment) will include
 
• Identifying and implementing machinery and general factory improvements
• Panel Building
• Robot fault finding
• Installing plant and machinery
• Upgrading plant and machinery
• Energy saving identification and implementation
• Repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Carrying out PPM as per schedules
• Light Fabrication

The company manufactures car accessory parts and the position is subject to a rotating shift pattern.  Three shift patterns, 0600-1400, 1400-2200,2200-0600.  Shift allowance 19.5% when working 0600-1400 or 1400-2200 and 33.33% when working 2200-0600.
