The Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

* Support Production Teams, ensuring little down time of equipment.
* Fault Finding
* Programming - Siemens S7
* Validating equipment
* Respond promptly to demand maintenance & seeks to improve current machine or system performance.
* Ensure that if such unplanned machine down time spans shift changeover a full handover is provided.
* Ensure Engineering best practice is applied to all engineering tasks undertaken.
* Maintains optimum machine availability to support production requirements.
* Maintains minimum response times to demand maintenance calls from manufacturing.
* Prioritises Breakdowns as per Manufacturing Requirements.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

* Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship, in either a mechanical or electrical discipline, with accompanying technical qualifications
* Good knowledge of PLC programming - particularly Siemens S7
* Pnematic and Hydraulic experience.
* Ideally has a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship engineering experience, preferably within a Pharmaceutical / FMCG environment.
* Has proven skills in faultfinding and problem solving, in order to quickly and effectively resolve machine/production issues.
* Has the ability to operate within a regulatory environment and a proven ability to work effectively and co-operatively across all levels of the business.
* Proven ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives and to work with minimal supervision.

This is a day role - Monday - Friday
