MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS - ELECTRICAL BIAS

THE CLIENT:

With an excellent reputation for the manufacture and supply of the most innovative products, our client is a world leader in the construction industry. Based in the UK, they also have a strong position across the worldwide market supplying North America, the Middle East and Asia.

Currently embarking on a complete change program this local manufacturing engineering company is now looking for a number of experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers (Electrical Bias) to bring their high level of skills and experience to the maintenance team.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be on hand to provide engineering support on a reactive and preventative basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance support in a continuous process environment
• Fault Diagnosis and programming of PLC’s (Siemens)
• Modifications on PLC’s
• Fault Diagnosis and rectification on SCADA systems
• Replacement of drives and modification of inverters
• Control load cell application and pneumatic instrumentation
• Project work
• Mechanical Fitting and Welding

THE PERSON:

The successful candidates will have served a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and must be able to turn their hand to a range of Mechanical Maintenance tasks. Candidates must also have PLC fault finding and programming skills.

Siemens experience is advantageous but other PLC's will be considered.

You must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision.
