Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, (Mechanical Bias) Food Production, Wigan

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) Role on behalf of our leading Food Manufacturing client.

Based in Wigan, Lancashire, the role is commutable from Warrington, Manchester, Bolton, Preston, Liverpool etc.

The Role:

Joining and supporting the engineering team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production plant, machinery and equipment to prevent unplanned downtime.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong Electrical maintenance and fault finding skills to include 3 phase
• Excellent mechanical aptitude, preferably to include pumps/gearboxes etc
• Proven track record in a multi-skilled position within a manufacturing environment. 
• Completed modern electrical apprenticeship
• 17th Edition Certification
• 2391 City & Guilds Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installation
