Job Purpose/ Principal Accountabilities

A fantastic opportunity for an established sales and service Manager to lead a Call Centre for one of the UK’s most innovative and successful Insurance Brokers. 

In a role that is very much about bolstering and driving the commercial performance of the sale of niche insurance products, you’ll provide the impetus behind our telemarketing, cross-selling and retention strategies. A tremendously diverse challenge

Responsibilities of the role

  • Shaping, motivating and leading sales and customer services teams to deliver and exceed budgeted income.
  • Providing leadership and direction, ensuring all KPI’s and business objectives are achieved.
  • Developing and evaluating management information to monitor performance
  •  Identify trends and drive improvement of staff and business performance.
  • Provide support and feedback to staff and Management.
  • Maximise business development opportunities.
  • Continual performance improvement of all areas of the business by ensuring training needs are identified and addressed.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with other business areas to promote best practice and create an environment orientated to trust, open communication and team working.

 Experience

  • Proven track record of leading in bound and outbound sales and customer services teams  to achieve outstanding results
  • Experience of call centre practices and technology, specifically Open GI 
  • Demonstrated achievement of hitting targets and setting goals
  • Minimum of two years in a similar enviroment
  • Verified management of a sales business with over 60 staff
  • Responsibility for the sales of a £4.6mil revenue budget and sales target of 20.000 policies
